Tacit Act, simply enough, is a music project headed by Marshall Camden with live and studio assistance from Jdavyd Williams. Make of it what you will.
Marshall began Tacit Act as a creative outlet while performing as keyboard player for the now-defunct In Tenebris. Having created electronic music for years (most notably as half of Void Stares Back before relocating to Charlottesville, VA), Tacit Act originally served as a moniker to be applied to ideas and remixes separate from In Tenebris, with little to no concern for gaining any particular reknown. When In Tenebris dissolved in August of 2007, energy was immediately re-concentrated into making Tacit Act a fully realized entity.
Marshall also currently plays keyboards for Charlottesville synthpop mainstay Synthetic Division.
Jdavyd was a founding member of In Tenebris as well as principle songwriter, guitar player, and programmer. He currently produces and releases darkwave-influenced kirtan under his own name along with leading live free-form kirtan sessions in and around Charlottesville. (Jdavyd's website)
